Comodo 2.3.6.81 -> 2.4.16.174 disk letter problem

I have recently updated Comodo 2.3.6.81 to 2.4.16.174 (automatically via updater).

After that, my application rules are unuasble for applications installed
on drive other than C:.

Example from Detals view:
existing rule (pre update created):

Security risk: unkonwn
Invisible: Ask
Connnections: unlimited
Version: 2,2,14,200
Path: E:\Pliki programowe\FileZilla\FileZilla.exe
Parent Path: C:\WXPSP1PL\Explorer.exe
Description: FileZilla

newly created rule (for the same application):
All the same as above except:
Version: unknown
Path: C:2\Pliki programowe\FileZilla\FileZilla.exe

Destination/ports/permisions are the same.

My system is Win XP SP2 + all updates

With the information you provide:

Look like the new path wasn’t point to the correct location. Change the existing path
C:2\Pliki programowe\FileZilla\FileZilla.exe
to
E:\Pliki programowe\FileZilla\FileZilla.exe
and if ask for the parent path___C:\WXPSP1PL\Explorer.exe
Hope this help

""Version: 2,2,14,200

Thank you for your post.

The problem is that changing the path will make the rule useless as the Comodo will not check this rule next time the application is started (it will look for the rule with c:2\ entry, not the e:).

The problem I have is not that just that one application path is not wrong, commodo does not recognize correctly paths to applications on disks other than c:. It has even problems with paths to the commodo itself. (“E:\Pliki Programowe” is the system program files path).

Some time ago I had the same problem with Kerio Personal Firewall, but my discs were dynamic then. Converting them back to basic disk types solved the problem with Kerio. Now, the Commodo has the same problem, but now all my disks are of basic type.
