I install this software 3/2014 and never had a problem. It is the best software I ever seen.
I turned on my computer and the cistray did not appear as it always had before.
My system will not allow me to restore back up go on the internet and my external devices are not allowed to open.
I have tried to uninstall this program use the recovery disk all access is not allowed in or out
The cistrace event log says
The cistray can not be found. The component could be corrupt and failed to get the class object for ClassFactory interface. Error Code: 0x8007041d
THE UNINSTALL PROGRAM POSTED ON MOUSE BOARD WILL NOT LOAD ON A USB PORT ON THIS COMPUTER. iT IS LIKE IT KNOWS WEIRD VERY
MY OTHER USB FOR MY MOUSE AND KEYBOARD WORK… ANY HELP OUT THERE

Most Effective Way to Reinstall/Update CIS to Avoid/Fix Problems
I guess you didn’t read my post or you think this cant be true.
I have worked with computers for a long time and this is happening on my MSI P45 computer. As much as I want this gone this is the most interesting problem I have ever run across.
This is a perfect setup as well for security or my children playing on my computer when they shouldn’t, but I don’t need that.
I have not been able to get anything off or on this computer through any device.
I can gain access through the matrix but still cant get anything in or out. I can reroute the hub but I haven’t found what is locking or blocking the usb ports or drives.
I suggest you read my post first before you give advise on how to fix.
I believe what you say might and will work but how do i make a restore point, reinstall or fix when it will not let me do any of these things.
In addition this computer is happy all files work.
I repaired this myself.
For those who want to know how. I had a version of uninstall which removes everything and anything that you ask it to from the past in an old directory that was on this computer. So I ripped cis apart piece by piece until it let go. It wasn’t easy but it let go.
I cleaned my computer and reinstalled.
Comodo is the best and always will be.
I recommend this to everyone.
