I have issued myself from our enterprise CA a code signing certificate. I sign a piece of VB macro within a word document and send it to a colleague. The colleague opens the doc and it says that macros are disabled as it doesn’t trust the publisher. He then adds the publisher to the trusted publishers folder in his certificate store. I then sign another doc the same way and send it to him and he has to do the same thing again. What am I doing wrong? I want to sign a doc and the whole company can run the macro. But if I need to add a cert to group policy for every doc… there are like 1000 of them. What am I doing wrong?
