I am using just comodo firewall security v5.3.
What is cmdagent service and what is it used for?
Do I need to use it for the firewall?
If not, how can I disable it from loading at startup.
Will it effect the windows xp usage if I disable it?
(such as more prompts, dialog box, etc)

why would you want to disable one of two processes of an installed security program?
and btw, cmdagent is a process which you would not want to disable.
you should take a look on your start up list. there could be things which load automatically but arent necessary. like readers oder players.
while security processes should run as soon as possible, no?
Cmdagent.exe is a service that is in charge of all the protection work. Disabling it will disable CIS.
