cmdagent overflow on Windows 7

after Pre-SP1 security fixes cmdagent started to overflow after some time. Slowing down file and network operations. Consuming 150 Mbytes of memory…
Installed SP1 by killing cmdagent process.
The problem remains after SP1.
Windows 7 64 Ultimate (russian edition)

Got this problem today. I installed some latest updates from Windows Update and left to have dinner. Music player started to hang sometimes. When I tried to reboot PC I couldn’t. After reset, when windows finished booting after 30sec-1min it become to hang again. If I can kill cmdagent.exe, system start to work like it should.
Yesterday all was ok, and only today I get this bug (few hours ago).

win7 x64 SP1.

This started for me today as well, except… I don’t have Service Pack 1 installed. I have made no changes to my system.

My system goes for a little bit, and then programs begin to hang one by one. I watch in task manager as cmdagent.exe grows continuously in memory usage. Eventually the system is completely unresponsive, and I have to do a hard reset. Checking the windows event log shows cmdagent.exe crashing.

Nopik, could you reformat your post so that it gets proper attention?

actually Comodo Agent reports that it works. Obviously, without service it is not working
It is completely not OK, including killing service with my bare h… task manager.
And my situation different from glifford: service doesn’t crash. And applications behave normally, except huge delays (applications in memory that do not use disk or net do not suffer).

Have same event in log
