I use Sandboxie v5.30 and everytime I close Firefox I get a pop up about cmd.exe trying to make changes to Firefox. It pops up around 3-5 times everytime and it doesn’t matter what answer I give it. I’m running Comodo Firewall v12.0.0.6818. Is there a way to change or shut this off without effecting security? This is driving me crazy!
Hello.
Could you please describe your steps more detailed?
How did you configure SandBoxie and Comodo Firewall?
How do you start Firefox (sandboxed or not, what sandboxing do you use)?
From the what application do you get a pop up about cmd.exe trying to make changes to Firefox?
Could you please make screenshot of pop up window?
Thanks Futuretech, that did work. Thanks Alexanderly as well.
Now does this automatically cancel any programs trying to make a change to Firefox? Is there a way to see other programs if they try to change Firefox settings and just cancel CMD.EXE?
Alexanderly, Firefox/Sandboxie are configured to run automatically and when Firefox is closed everything is removed. When I close Firefox I then get the cmd.exe is trying to change Firefox. I do wonder if that has to do with removing everything from Firefox when closed. I run Sandboxie 5.30 and Comodo Firewall 12.9.9.6818.
Once you turn it off it disables monitoring of changing browsers settings for all applications, there is no way to selectively allow or block specific applications to change browser settings like you can in CCAV.
