Name: .UnclassifiedMalware[at]1
Location: C:\Program Files\SPPFLite\spflite.exe
More information: Unavailable
I’ve been using the program for over 10 years and have never had any problems with it. I am tempted to just have Comodo ignore this error permanently, but I thought I’d ask first.
Is there any way to determine why someone thinks this is malware and what the actual problem is with it?
This is to inform you that false-positive with
<spflite.exe> (SHA1: )
has been fixed.
You can update to AV database Version <7456> of Comodo Internet Security Version<5.0.162636.1135> and confirm it.
The thing is, I’m not running the Antivirus. I’m running only the Comodo firewall. I am using version 5.3.176757.1236.
I sent you a a reply along these lines by email, but haven’t heard back so I thought I’d post a message here.
Since I am not running the Antivirus, isn’t the error window coming from Comodo firewall??
Then it is coming from the cloud av. When cloud lookup finds out a file is in the av definitions it will alert the user even though the user does not have the av installed.
