Cloned Backups

Hi,

I am using an external hard drive as a backup to clone my c: drive on to. If the c: drive dies, will I be able to boot from the external hard drive plugging it in to any computer (and changing boot order) or just the original one because of hardware drivers etc?

Hi

If you have Windows XP then the answer is yes, otherwise you will have to clone the entire hard disk.
