Clone Tutorial

Hi,

I’m a newbie to backups. I’d like to start by cloning my machine to an external HD or DVD. Does anybody know where I can find a tutorial on how to do this with Comodo (ie what do I need to copy)?

Hi

To clone you system drive to an external HDD you must make the following selection in backup step 1 (see screenshot attached).
Then in backup step 2 you must select the destination drive (see screenshot).

If you want to clone the entire disk, you must select entire disk in backup step 1 and the target disk in backup step 2.

Cloning is an ireversible process and the data on destination drive will be overwritten.
It can only be done to another partition/disk, not DVD.
