well try to download the iso on this computer and burn it to a cd, if you can do that try doing what I said before. Also the comodo sandbox cannot sandbox windows files they made sure of that, if it is sandboxing this then yes there is something in there.
OK. well I found all my blocked files and unblocked them and I will make absolutely sure they are harmful and delete them instead of just blocking.
and if it was sandboxed what further action would comodo take on it?
ok well i did a scan with comodo cloud scanner and i did that request help thing and now i have someone on my comp via live support named danny but i dont think danny is very friendly because hes not talking to me
so i have no idea what hes doing or when it’ll be done. ;<
none of those scanners are really finding anything but tracker cookies.
And can someone tell me if this is legitimate please… idk why it’s asking for my pw…
http://i52.tinypic.com/e7mcut.jpg
& this is the pic of what happened after a force restart today…
So after unblocking some of the things you had blocked through CIS you are able to install programs normally and run scans. Besides the pic you posted is there anything that is still making you think your computer is infected?
If I understand you correctly you have run scans with Comodo Cloud Scanner, Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, and Emsisoft AntiMalware and none of them find anything malicious besides tracking cookies. Is this correct?
Also, about the pic you posted I have to ask whether you have seen it before and what you were doing when it popped up?
Unblocking actually did nothing… and yes, like ive said, many, MANY times throughout the day, when i double click something (whether its on my desktop, on a browser, or in a GAME) my comp randomly force restarts, and it’s ALWAYS a different thing, and it will always say “windows has just recovered from a serious error”. and I send the crash report, and it still fucking happens. crash reports are useless.
yes thats correct, however comodo cloud scanner did find various things but they were impossible to get rid of because all you could do was press a button that said “request assistance” and they told you you had to pay $49 to register for live support. so basically if those are legit harmful items detected i cant do anything about it.
it came up when i pressed “send report” for comodo. since no one answered i just filled it out but it still didn’t work anyway. since then comodo has crashed like 2 times. various programs constantly crash without notice, sometimes windows live messenger and VERY OFTEN opera (internet browser like firefox/IE)
please provide me with a Hijack this log.

I know the toolbar/AMPing are suspicious they are both inactive, i uninstalled them but those 2 useless files were left. ill delete them sometime.
as for the other files… what do i do and how do i do it?
basically you select the ones you want to clean and then click fix checked, after that you reboot. The please provide me with another log I want to be sure they are gone.
Is there a way to add a spoiler for these long logs?
Anyway, here you are.

well everything looks good there, how is the system running?
I was just told comodo has crashed (yet again) however it is still running, & like always send error report does not work.
That strikes me as suspicious ![]()
May be there is also a problem with hardware/drivers going on. That’s why we need to know if your system is clean. Once we are certain enough your sytsem is clean we could start considering other causes of instability.
Try running rootkit scanner gmer and see if it reports hidden processes. Post a screenshot of the result page.
For possbile further troubleshooting it would be useful to see the actual blue screens. Follow Force Computer To Show Blue Screen Details to set your computer to stop and show blue screen when Windows crashes.
crashing applications like this really lead me to a memory problem, I had something like this happen to me. Please test your system using memtesr86+, leave it running over night and be sure the memory is stable, but I have also seen memory problems that it did not reveal if after all night everything is ok, try removing one stick of ram and running just on one ( if you have two) if you have more then two remove all but one and try it for a day then keep adding ram until instability happens again. http://www.memtest.org/
Acrobat 6.0This is old and heavily targeted, you need to update
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)I see no need for this, delete. Let hijack this make a backup copy just in case
Windows Live\Messenger and LogMeIn HamachiI assume your using this
You could delete ALL your old “system restore points” and then create a new fresh restore point
im not sure which memtest thingie i download…
and as for acrobat i have downloaded the newest one but when i try to install it i get an error
http://i52.tinypic.com/se25js.jpg
deleted search hook.
and as for acrobat i have downloaded the newest one but when i try to install it i get an errorI've never seen that screen before :(
Platform: Windows XP SP3 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v8.00 (8.00.6001.18702)Based on this, I'm assuming windows is up-to-date on everything. So, my question is
-
Where you trying to update acrobat version 6 to the newest one???
-
When you say, adobe acrobat (I’m not extremely knowledge on acrobat products, I’ve only used adobe flash and illustrator. Updating always has been a pain for me ) Which one where you refering to???
Adobe flash player or plugin for Internet explorer or firefox
Adobe Acrobat (Paid version) Standard, Pro, or Pro extented
If it’s a paid version, is the license still current.
If it’s none of them above, could you post the link to the adobe product your talking about -
Did it say anything about a certian file or registry key being locked??? <— I’ve seen this twice before, which is why I’m asking
============================
Generally, Adobe sucks when it comes to uninstalling itself or updating (IMO, Adobe has been nothing but a hassle for me) you can use “revo uninstaller” to remove it completely, just don’t restart the computer, let revouninstaller finish the job. Then install the new version <— I won’t be able to help you much on adobe, because that’s always problematic for me, I’m just posting on what has worked for me, if nothing helps for you, you may need to contact adobe for this
Good Luck on this on :■■■■
