- Get “Debugging Tools” for Windows 10 : https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=619296
- Run “Global Flags (X64)” from following path : C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Debuggers\x64\gflags.exe
- Go to ‘Silent Process Exit’ tab
- At ‘Image’ type : CisTray.exe
- Press TAB key
- Check the following options: ‘Enable Silent Process Exit Monitoring’, ‘Enable dump collection’, ‘Enable notification’
- Set ‘Dump Folder Location’ = C:\Dumps\
- Set ‘Dump Type’ = Custom Dump
- Set ‘Custom Dump Type’ = 2
- Press ‘Apply’ button

- Restart system
- After some time, click on the " ^ " icon in the notification area ; check if CisTray is still running

- CisTray exits suddenly ; process is not running ; The tray icon can disappear at random intervals, or when hovering over it, it will suddenly disappear.
- Dumps of ‘CisTray.exe’ and ‘svchost.exe’ processes were collected automatically by gflags rule

CisTray should not exit by itself from the notification area

- ‘svchost.exe’ process was caught by the gflags rule.
- CisTray is running under svchost, not explorer.
- Apparently, there are no useful entries in the attached logs (Application+System).
