CIS4 : How will CIMA and Sandboxing work?

Is there going to be a connection between CIS4+ releases and Comodo Dragon?

That is a cracking question. ^

It certainly is a good question.

AFAIK CIS is gonna be somehow incorporated within the browser, so it will scan the downloading files etc…

eXPerience

Does that mean that if you install V4 you’ll have to get the browser as well???

Edited in regard to LaserWraith.

I don’t need another web browser, i’va got FF and i’m very happy with it.

I really hope not!

It might work in multi browsers.

Modded as well

Will CIS v4 protect against exploits attacks ?

Edited quote, since you changed it.

I doubt anyone knows how it will be added into CIS at this moment.

Unless the mods have some special info ( >:().
(Cheaters lol.)

You are right Laser. I’ll edit my post.
Thanks for calling my attention.

I’ve been asking others and we only know some vague information.

best regards,
eXP

Ask Melih he knows :stuck_out_tongue: ;D

Good idea. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is part of what Melih said:

Thanks for your time Laser.

I will say the following: I would never install a product wich forced me to use this or that browser. In fact, I would never present all the security of my PC to only one manufacturer; as a matter of principle.
And that’s one of the things I like about CIS in its actual configuration.
But I see a work up to an integrated suite with no options. I hope I’m wrong. If I’m not I’ll just jump ship.
I won’t jump the forums though, I find it cosy.

Jose.

What about exploits attacks ? Will CIS v4 handle it ?

You know…as the title suggests, this topic is about how CIMA and Sandboxing will work with CIS v4.

I feel that talking about Comodo Dragon & how CIS will handle exploits is a bit off-topic. !ot!

So will we be able to empty the sandbox like sandboxie or will it be like norman and zonealarms sandbox as just a way to see what suspicious files do in a virtual environment???

Its not Off Topic it depends what will handle that. Sandbox could do it… CIMA too, or Defense+…
