Yeah the tick is here also in main window I see “All systems are in game mode” but it will be nice a tray indicator, something like change C from that red shield into a G, or change icon color from red to blue or something. :-La
An indication in the tray would be nice but as far as I can see from running my games, Game Mode is really no different than Training mode except that maybe it suppresses updates when training mode doesn’t. I am able to play my games in safe mode after running them the first time in Game mode. Since I do not use CAV, I’m not concerned about updates. Avast! has an automatic gaming mode that takes care of that. I also do not use the sandbox or D+ so a manual Game mode doesn’t do much for me.
I really like the way that my Firewall only installation checked the files for World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online, found them safe and added them to my trusted files automatically. It not only did that but Blizzard Entertainment and Turbine, Inc. were automatically added to the Trusted Vendors list as was the maker of my Lightscribe labeling software. (Starting with v3.14, it was impossible to even add Blizzard manually since it kept saying the files were not validly signed). The paranoid among us might consider this new behavior to be a bug but to me it’s fantastic and merits a resounding kudos and a huge :-TU to the development team. Well done Comodo !
