My laptop no longer recognizes my Ipod. I’ve tried everything I could find on the web. Some state that security software may be causing the problem. Is this a known issue with CIS? Thank you.

What version of CIS are you running?

When running v5.x try the findings from Laserfan.

Please consider updating to the latest version of the v5 serie. Will the program updater update you? It may be a two step process that first takes you to 5.8 and from there to 5.12.
