CIS gui not opening

Hi All,
while trying to open CIS using double click the gui doesn’t open. I have installed new windows and also formatted whole laptop still facing the same issue. I tried another products as well i.e. antivirus and firewall that also doesn’t work. Can anyone please help.

Do you have any other security software installed?

No I don’t have any other security software installed. I did a fresh Windows 7 install and still it doesn’t work.

Before I noticed this issue I made a few changes in registry file (for different software ) also deleted some registry entry for other software. So I thought maybe that is the reason so I formatted my whole hard drive but still I continue to see error.

Any suggestions on this will be helpful.

In case of doubt you can use Windows System Restore.

If it is a clean install of Windows with no other security software installed then I am thinking we may be facing a bug. Do you have special utility software installed that interferes with networking? Or is there other software that you think might interfere? If that is the case disabling or temporarily uninstalling it.
