Is this Malwarebytes Free or the paid version? If it is the paid version please see if disabling it solves the issue.
Assuming this is not related to Malwarebytes it’s possible that something is wrong with your installation. To rule out that possibility, and possibly solve this issue for you, please reinstall CIS by following the advice I give in this topic. Also, after running the removal tools and reinstalling, be sure to not import any old configuration into CIS. That can sometimes cause these sort of problems.
Hi Dragosh,
There have been 3 more updates since your listed version, 3-4 days ago should have gave the latest version.
V6.3.297838.2953 released October 21.
V6.3.300670.2970 released November 13.
V6.3.301250.2972 released November 16.
V6.3.302093.2976 released November 26.
Now at the time when it was happening(before i updated) it could get very annoying because it would freeze (on 2-3 out of 8 websites, websites i accessed for the first time or the ones i didn’t access after a longer period of time) all action for 15-30 seconds on the whole windows.
After i updated it seems to be less occurring, but then again i was not so much present on the PC.
I shall see if the freeze will continue through the following week, if anything does happen i will let you know
It’s possible that something is wrong with your installation, or this is caused by interference from fragments of older anti-malware applications which have been removed from your computer. To rule out that possibility, and possibly solve this issue for you, please reinstall CIS by following the advice I give in this topic. Also, after running the removal tools and reinstalling, be sure to not import any old configuration into CIS. That can sometimes cause these sort of problems.
after a complete uninstall of the comodo suite i got one freeze/lockup, after that happened it gave me an exact information what to search for.
The lockups/freezes were happening because of a combination of the Firefox hardware acceleration and the new(aperantly badly designed and buggy) NVIDIA graphics drivers and Geforce experience (which is forced on the new graphic drivers).
Just turning off the hardware acceleration in Firefox seems to have done the trick, for the moment at least.
Sry for the trouble, but that should give you positive information which you can forward to other people ;D
