Hi @all, I just installed on a notebook the free version of Comodo Internet Security 2011 (v. 5.4.x).
I’ve a problem with Defense +.
Each application, even those marked as safe, start me in double time: eg. Firefox takes about 6 seconds without CIS, about 11/12 sec with CIS/Defence+ active…
Shouldn’t Comodo avoid scanning programs marked as safe??

Do you have other security porgrams running in the background? Which ones? Try disabling them and see if that helps.
May be left overs of previously installed security programs are in the way. Try using removal tools for those programs. Here is a list of removal tools for common av programs: ESET Knowledgebase .
Otherwise do a Google search with terms “removal tool” and * name of product or vendor*.
