I really like viruscope and the sandbox (with ask alert in ccav). VS is still new but it is going to be very powerful once more recognizers are added.

Yes there are workarounds for Viruscope recognizers. Within this year there will be more development on that area. 
Keep sharing your ideas about the best feature of the year 2015 and the improvements you would like to see on those features.
