Are there any events in the logs for D+ & firewall?
What kind of logs you need and how i can create it ?
In the CIS Firewall tab, upper entry (left column): View Firewall events
In the CIS D+ tab, upper entry (left column): View D+ events
Nothing you need to do (logging is automatic).
How is the IP address for the LAN Disk being assigned? Are your IP address static, or DHCP (using APIPA)?
The LAN Disk is plugged into the router, yes? Or plugged into your host?
Has LAN Disk been working and not accessible after installing CIS, or was CIS installed and you can’t access LAN Disk after installing it?
IP assigned automatic, yes - Lan Disk plugged into router. yes - has been worked and not accessible after CIS installatin
i reinstall CIS and find problem
Oh. Eiither 1 or 2 are both deal-breakers. But both together? Yikes.
Sounds like you got ‘er runnin’
You need to look under Firewall → Application Rules for the rule for System I think/
2.In Firewall Tasks -> Stealth Ports i push Block Incoming Connechions (no connections to LanDisk ) - when i choice - Alert Incoming Connections - i can connect to my Lan DiskWhen setting the firewall to Block Incoming Connections it will block all incoming traffic silently. You then need to edit Global Rules and the application rule for System.
When setting the firewall to Alert Incoming Connections you will get alerted and it will automatically make the required rules. This is a convenient setting when behind a router as you have noticed.
