CIS 7/8 permanatly wants a reboot, new installation has no effect on this

Hello,

I have an issue with CIS. CIS wants to reboot, but again and again, every time I’ve done it. The problem occurs on version 7 and it still exists on version 8.000.4337. I dont know, how to fix it, I have already tried the following steps:

  • uninstalled CIS V7 → new Installation of CIS V7: problem still there
  • uninstalled CIS V7 → installed the new CIS V8: problem still exists

I hope, you can help me, I dont want to reset the whole system.

Does the message the reason for the restart? Can you post a screenshot?

Can you run Diagnostics and see if it finds something? It can be found under the question mark in the upper right corner.

If it doesn’t find anything and you are familiar with Autoruns you can see if there is a run once entry for CIS. See if disabling that fixes it.
