To all users, be sure to first uninstall CIS 6 through ADD-REMOVE in CONTROL PANELm then run the or ANY removal tool in this forum. You could end up in having to reinstall Windows from scratch. In my case, even through manual deletion in the computer and the registry, I could not reinstall CIS 6 due to some Comodo FW remnants… 88)
The removal tools are best used in Windows Safe Mode. That way no CIS executables will be running when running the removal tool.
Best is to uninstall using the uninstaller and only when that failed use the removal tools in Safe Mode.

It said there was another instance of Comodo firewall (v. 2813) running and that I could only upgrade, so I guess by now I could install the new version with success if only I tried…! :o
