Thank you for all your responses and guidance. I want to share some information regarding our current situation. We have collected 73 bugs and improvement requests from the forum related to CIS Beta and CIS 2025.
We are in the process of organizing and prioritizing all the bugs and requests you have submitted. Which items on this list do you think we should address first? How should we prioritize them? Could you please guide us on this?
1-) Bug-Fix – Application rules for UDP inbound and outbound connections to and from other devices on the local area network
2-) Bug-Fix – Problem with the ARP control of the firewall.
3-) Bug-Fix – Excessive firewall event logging for blocked application
4-) Bug-Fix – CIS doesn’t allow to use pipe symbol | in protected files for blocking write access for contained applications.
5-) Bug-Fix – Process tree of the contained application in the containment logs is not available.
6-) Bug-Fix – HIPS bypasses unrecognized application to create folder/file without alerting.
7-) Bug-Fix – HIPS does not monitor access to COM Interfaces that are of InProcServer32 server type and HIPS will not alert on access to that COM object by an unknown application.
8- ) Bug-Fix – While running console applications in containment, green border is no longer shown on Windows 10 21H2.
9-) Bug-Fix – Rescue disk doesn’t installing.
10-) Bug-Fix – Running msinfo32.exe with CIS causes high RAM and CPU usage
11-) Bug-Fix – Synology Drive Client software is incompatible with CIS beta v12.3.1.8104.
