I have an annoying issue with CID (latest version) wherein my home page “Google.uk” does not show properly on most occasions. Attached is a JPG - CID in safe mode but same in normal)

Security Software Installed; AVAST Internet Suite
How you produced the problem; does it itself
How you tried to resolve the problem; don’t know how
Screen-shots with the error (if any); attached
Post Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any; not crashed
Have you checked with the default theme?
Have you included in browser settings - hardware acceleration.
P.S. Hmm. Strangely. You top of the window (it seems) in this topic? Reply#3, 2 and 8.

Probably problems with graphics?

Thank you for your input.
Hardware acceleration was not activated but is now - no difference.
The previous JPG was in ‘Safe Mode’ but the Normal mode is exactly the same, JPG #2 attached.
I also noticed the cursor places itself in the center of the ‘search box’ not at the left side.
If I click anywhere on this page the flashing cursor bar disappears and will not return until I re-press the ‘Home’ button.
Please elaborate on your comment regarding “Top of the window”.

Did all of that - to no avail.
However - please see the 2 attached LPG’s.
If I use Google.co.uk - I get the problem
If I use Google.com - I don’t???
Could it be some kind of output from Google.co.uk?

I do not know what to suggest.
I’m sorry that did not help. Check the portable. (Without supplements) installed in the system is not necessary. Then install the add-on.
I have displayed good.Screen. But my IceDragon portable.
Well we tried.
So I reverted to uninstalling, profiles and all, restarted the PC, re-installed CID, used FEBE to re-install all my extensions etc.
All is now well again - I now have the same picture as your last post, albeit I am using the Desktop version.
I would prefer to use the Portable version but I cannot set it as my default browser - unless, of course, Guru, you know differently.
