Something is wrong Those file size should be 11 Mb.
Maybe is vista virtualization that is causing this. the scanners folder size should be 11Mb.
what security software are you running alongside with cfp?
I have:-
Avira antivirus
Spybot Search & Destroy
SpywareBlaster
AVG Anti-Spyware
Ad-Aware 2007
Those software seems ok to me.
The only one that could cause an unrelated issue is Spybod sd teatimer because it can block registry changes.
If you are going to wait fo the nex version I guess you should try a full install next time.
I have just uninstalled (using the Comodo uninstaller) and installed version 3.20.0. This has not fixed the problem. The updater still downloads and installs the bases.cav file every time it’s used. Dvdsig still shows only 6MB in the scanners folder.
During your last 3.20 installation were the other security programs disabled to avoid potential conflicts? Sometimes the simplest solution is the correct one.
