Not sure where to post this. i was trying to change my email for notification of replies but each time when i enter my current password twice as requested it says you must enter your current password?

Assuming you’re talking about the Account Related Settings profile page, then yes the forum profile can seem a little odd/confusing here (see below). Blank out Choose password, enter your current password in the Current Password at the bottom and all should be good.
The top two password fields (Choose password and Verify password) are for when you want to change your password. I think the browser is wrongly filling in the first password field with your current password.
