Changing a decision

I think I must be missing something obvious, but:

I have an application that tried to access the service control manager. I blocked it and said “remember this decision.” I’ve changed my mind since… How can I fix this?

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

Update: searching, I found this thread: https://forums.comodo.com/empty-t16757.0.html

but unfortunately I don’t really know how to go about enacting the advice. Where do I go to do this exactly? I’ve actually been using the software for some months so I must REALLY be missing something. Thanks.

Take a look under Defense+/Computer Security Policy for the application, and either change the rule to allow or erase the rule and let a popup occur to select your desired option.

Ah, I see. Thank you! One little thing - which one would service control manager be under? Access Rights? Then what exactly?

Many thanks already.

You need to look for the program that was trying to access service control manager, and delete the entry for that program. Then when it tries to access scm again, you can allow (and remember if desired).
