Comodo Firewall Professional 3 control panel => ‘Defense+’ => ‘Scan My System’ does NOT scan archives (i.e. ZIP) for malware (eicar.com test file neither detected in zip-file nor in zip-file within zip-file). However, eicar.com test file has been detected on the folder level. Scanning archives should be added as well. Thanks.

Comodo’s Firewall has an integrated scanner which is a shell of CAVS 3 (coming out as a beta really soon) so it’s not a full blown AV. It’s an on-demand scanner only and shouldn’t be trusted for now
