CFP 3.0 + XP SP3 (RC)

I installed the RC from SP3 a couple of hours ago: just to say that CFP 3 runs flawlessly with it, as if nothing happened. As for what’s new with SP3, that’s a good question (:LGH). OK we’ve been warned, MS itself never said there would be no additional features, but just a cumulation of security updates, those downloaded for 6 years now and a couple of other things not very interesting to mention.

Anyway, the purpose of this post was just to say that CFP 3 has no problem in that revolutionary ( (:LGH)) environment.

that said, it’s extremely stable, and may be useless (:LGH), other than to avoid the 100 updates after a fresh install of XP SP2. I’ll stop my comments here, that’s kinda out of topic in this section of the forum. Again I only wanted to say that CFP 3.0 works well with it.

I’ll continue to be a little more off-topic myself, but I trust more what I read here than what I find on other sites.

Does anybody by chance know if tcpip.sys has similar limitations like for SP2, and has to be patched?

I think so and I think that people will continue patching it.

Thank you, weaker… I’ve also installed SP3 RC … looks fine so far with 3.0.14.276
