This new version I have just installed promptly added comodo’s own install files to the pending list. I looked them up only for me to be told they are unknown??? How come Comodo does know it’s own files??
Everything else appears to be working fine!
My guess is that the developers or programmers forgot to add CFP’s own installation files to the known “Safe Files” database.
Odd? Yes, but not terribly surprising. A minor oversight.
Well, I think comodo doesn’t do MD5/SHA1 hashes of files, so it doesn’t know that they aren’t fakes? This is hotly contested on the forums, I do think comodo OUGHT to do said hashes because you might run an installer that then changes more than you think it does, OK the installation mode, and then not know it replaced Firefox.exe with some spyware or such.
