CEVPN security risks while connecting to unknown or untrusted host?

Hi, I want to play a game (Terraria) on a multiiplayer server, and the host is using CEVPN to allow access to the server.

  • Is it safe for me to connect to an untrusted host?

  • What can someone in the VPN potentially access on my computer (folders, passwords) while I am connected?

  • What can I do to make my computer/network safe from access, hackers, etc. while connected as a client on a CEVPN network? Is it even possible?

Hi:

 Please turn your firewall on when you connect to untrusted host.
 Close unneeded service such as file sharing on VPN network adapter.
 Open application you needed as firewall exception on VPN network adapter.
 
 Disable VPN connection/leaving network when you did not need it anymore.
