CBU v3 error 67

I’ve just downloaded and installed v3 under XP/SP3 (32-bit). I have attempted to do full manual and scheduled backups of my C: drive to an external USB drive and I encounter error 67 every time. Searching the forum, I have discovered that this means that a file/folder is missing. However, all the files that I believe should be present are present!

Any ides? Thanks for your help.

Here is th log file for several failed attempts:

Hi

Please follow these steps to help us determine the cause of the issue:

  1. Go to Windows → Run type "cmd.exe’ and hit Enter
  2. In cmd.exe window type “C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Comodo BackUp\CBU.exe /enabledebug”
  3. Restart CBU.exe
  4. Repeat the backup operation
  5. In cmd.exe window type “C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Comodo BackUp\CBU.exe /dumpdebugcontent”
  6. Collect the “Debug.cbu” file located in the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Comodo BackUp” folder and post it here for analysis.

Thanks

Hi Emmanuel

Thanks for your reply. Regrettably, I cannot reproduce the problem. In hindsight, I think that it may have been by my attempt to append to a non-existent log file. If this is the case, I would have expected CBU to warn me, or to create it during the start of the dump run, rather than let me create the dump job regardless.

May we leave this report on hold for the time being.

Thanks for your efforts.

PS. I have some issues with running CBU as a service run. I’ve noted your program switches and I will use them to provide a dump when I report those issues in another post.
