CBU does not see my CD drive

I just started trying CBU 2.1.117500.10
I am running WinXP SP3.
I want to backup critical data from my C: drive to my D: (CD-RW) drive regularly.
So far, CBU sees only my C: drive under Backup Destination/My Computer. It does, however, see both C and D under Restore.
I’ve reinstalled, rebooted, repaired. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled my D: drive in Device Manager. Still no D: drive for my destination.

What’s the problem?

CD-RW drives are not supported as a backup destination.
We will add CD/DVD support in a future version.
