Just now moved to CAVS from Avast!!! I hope this will be a good move! BDW will these two applications (CAVS and CPF) be integrated into one in the coming versions?
Not as yet, Damitha. However, version 3 of CFP will have a full-blown HIPS which will go above and beyond the capabilities of the application-based HIPS currently found in CAVS Beta 2.x
At that point, for users with both products, HIPS control will transfer to CFP, rather than CAVS (not sure exactly how, but that’s what Comodo has said…).

Yes as LM said, Comodo Firewall will have a more advanced version of HIPS and will take over complete HIPS functionality if both CAVS and Comodo Firewall are installed.
