CAS32.exe on startup

I recently installed the free, AntiSpam Desktop 2005 program without any drama. The program works great, but when Windows XP boots-up, the Comodo program activates the dial-up modem and my firewall says CAS32.exe wants access to the internet and the destination is 0.0.0.0.DNS. Why does the AntiSpam program need to access the internet after each start-up and what sort of executable program is CAS32.exe?

Thank you for any explanation offered.

Yeah, I had the same question. It’s a big program and suspicious.

:o
You’re not doubting something from COMODO, are you?
:THNK

Not doubting, just asking. What the heck is CAS32? A server? Does one need it? Or only if you send spam addresses to Comodo?
