Can't run Full Scan

I just installed Comodo Internet Security Premium, and everything seems to be okay except that I have tried Full Scan and it freezes up. The Quick Scan runs okay, but the Full Scan quits after a short time. The display screen has shown different percentages one time and nothing other times.
Any help.

[I tried Quick Scan and Rating Scan. Both worked okay, but just can’t get Full Scan to work. I deleted Comodo Internet Security Premium, restarted computer, then downloaded and installed fresh version of CIS Premium. No changes. BTW, I’m using 6.3.302093.2976 on Windows Vista. Also using CFW> and I have deleted all other AV programs. Had Avast but wanted to try Comodo with Firewall . Heard good things. /quote]

It isn’t clear a little.
Q. Simply a quickly to passes Full Scanning?
Q. There is no lag ( error ) at Full Scanning and doesn’t stop on a certain file?

If simply quickly passes full scanning.
A. All a entrusted files and safe files are written down in a cache.

Once CAV sees a file as safe it stores it in its cache, this is why once you run one full scan the next one will be much quicker. there is not point in checking a file again that CAV already determined as safe. After CAV updates its signatures it will run the cache cleaner which will clean out old files that now have detections or that are no longer detected. the difference between quick scan and full scan its the locations it scans not the amount of files it scans.
P.S. If you have ( were ), other products of safety earlier, look these utilities. ( For cleaning of the remains. )

Thanks Jenny. I’ll try your suggestion. When I start CIS, and go to Scan, the Quick Scan and the Rating Scan can both run. I ran both today, with Quick Scan in 17.44 time and Rating Scan in 42.00, both until 100%, and the display(garage door, my opinion) showing percentages all the way. When I go to Full Scan, it may run for a few minutes, then show the same few files and the garage opens and closes, but never displays anything. It’s like the garage is there and nobody home. I have difficulty explaining things in proper terms.
Hope this helps.

I got it.
I have an idea that it is possible to try.
But let’s look, who can will prompt still.
I never used a Vista.
I don’t know as the 6th version works with Vista.
Maybe this a problem was mentioned earlier.
Edit: Also see from me PM. ( I have an idea that it is possible to try.)

Thanks Jenny. Got your PM and did some other checking here.
Found couple other places where Avast had files that I had stored. Mostly done to recover lost program data, or such. Can’t remember all that I found but everything working good now.
Quick Scan 17.44 minutes
Rating Scan 42.00 minutes
Full Scan 5 hours 48 minutes
3 infections found that were fixed

If I have any further problems I’ll check on the Forum. Very satisfied with the help.

I am glad that everything at you turned out. :-TU
Everything is normal.
Bst73!

:-TU 73 :-TU

:-TU Another update on this. Today, Wednesday, February 19, I ran the following scans, and the times between Yesterday and today are listed here.
Quick Scan 17.44 Minutes to 1.22 Minutes
Rating Scan 42.00 Minutes to 2.14 Minutes
Full Scan 5 Hours 48 Minutes to 3 Hours 23 Minutes
Even though it seems to take forever to see action on Full Scan, all is working well.
