Can't remove infected files

I know of at least two executable files in my downloads folder, identified as malicious and thus run in a sandbox by CIS. one had Heur.Packed.Unknown@1 and the other Heur.Suspicious@106626919. The Malware were successfully removed but the files can’t be accessed even with administrator permissions!
Why is that so? Is this how its supposed to be? I even tried to remove then with shredder utility but they couldn’t be accessed. How do I remove these files?

What error are you getting when you try to remove them manually using windows delete?

Can you please post a screenshot of the following:
Defense+ Logs (CIS > Defense+ > View Defense+ Events)
Antivirus Logs (CIS > Antivirus > View Antivirus Events)

If you have a problem downloading, installing or getting SAS to run, try downloading and using the SUPERAntiSpyware Portable Scanner instead. Save the randomly named file (i.e. SAS_1710895.COM) to a USB drive or CD and transfer to the infected computer. Then double-click on it to launch and scan. The file is randomly named to help keep malware from blocking the scanner.
