I am trying to run a CS:S server and I need a plethora of ports to be open so that external clients can connect. I have allowed the srcds program, however it only seems to open 1 port (27015). Anyway, when I scan my computer with shieldsup, only 27015 oppears to be open and that is only when srcds is actually running. I would like to open all of these ports.
UDP 1200 (Friends Network)
UDP 27000 to 27015 (Gameport)
TCP 27030 to 27039
TCP 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)
You will need to create Application Monitor rules to open these ports, once you have identifiedthe executable that requires them.
Other than the existing SRCDS rule you have created, you will need to create another four inbound rules, using the parameters you’ve already outlined.
If you wanted to be concise, you could get buy with just two rules, one for TCP and one for UDP, providing you selected “A set of ports” and type in the individual ports you need.
Hope this helps,
