Cannot uninstall Comodo Internet Security on Windows 10

I tried to install a more recent version of Comodo Internet Security, but the installer says that I must uninstall the old version manually.

When I use the Windows uninstall feature from the control panel or use Revo Uninstaller, I get this message from the Comodo install software:

This installation supports only Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 … etc.

I am using Windows 10, so I do not know how to procede. Comodo Internet Security currently does not run, as I think Revo partly uninstalled it.

Most Effective Way to Reinstall/Update CIS to Avoid/Fix Problems

It’s useful in such situations.
