Cannot schedule backup

Hi,

I’ve just installed CB on my windows 7 32bit PC, and it will only run the backup after I have started CB manually.

I have tried the service backup option but no joy.
Each time I manually start CB I get the “do you really want to do this” type message, is this normal?
Should there be a CB service running in the background that monitors and starts the backup at the set time?

Pretty sure I had an old version of CB a few years ago and that ran backups with ease, without the need for me to start CB manually?

Hi

This is most likely caused by UAC.
Please go to run, type “%TEMP%\CB diagnostics report.txt” and post the diagnostics report file to see if there are any errors in CB.
