Cannot open links in Outlook without disabling Defense & Security Level ...

Hi,

The above says it all really … started happening yesterday.

Turned on my computer and got a few alerts, which I blocked as I didn’t recognise them. Since this happened, I cannot open any links by clicking on them in Outlook Express. I can’t remember what the alerts were for and am not too good with computers.

Can I reverse what I’ve blocked or re-configure Defense/Security in some way so I’m still protected? Why did I get these alerts anyway I wonder?

Any help/advise on what to do would be much appreciated.

Just cured the problem myself by uninstalling and re-installing.

To avoid re-installing, you can always check the event logs and computer security policies. If a blocking rule is created, blocked events will show and the policy can be changed.
