  • CIS will not allow for it’s window to be closed from the taskbar. That is, when the CIS window is open, I cannot close through the taskbar icon by right-clicking on it and selecting close. I get this logged for every attempt -

Specific steps you have taken to try to resolve it.

  • Adding explorer.exe to COMODO Internet Security file-group’s Processes’ Protection-Exceptions solves the problem.

Brief description of your Defense+ and Firewall+ mode (Custom, Train with safe) plus mention if you modified any setting in ADVANCED section of D+ and F+

  • Defense+: Safe mode; to Image Execution Settings’ ‘Files To Check’ I have added the “executables” file-group.
    Firewall: Safe mode
    Sandbox enabled.

  • UAC has been disabled, running administrator account.

Without being a Win7 user I guess that maybe rather a setting issue than a bug. As COMODO is quite fast to get de- and reinstalled I would 1st try to do this and check it again with default settings. If that behaviour still occurs it’ll be then a case for the COMODO-experts.
