Cannot backup to network folder unless UAC turned off

When I try to back up to a network location I cannot access the required folder and receive the error “could not get network folders/files”. This is resolved by turning UAC off. However I do not wish to permanently turn UAC off. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Is there a fix for this?

Hey hypertense:

Just to potentially save you some time, you will likely be asked to make sure your updated to the newest version of CB, and maybe to then try to see if you have the same problem.

If you are running an older version, just click “update” on the top right interface of CB. It will do its thing automatically but you will have to reboot as I recall. The current version is 3.0.171316.129. To tell what version your running, click “about” on the top right interface of CB.

Just a heads up! Good Luck, Diligent

Thanks for the hint, diligentenquirer.

I already have the latest version, so that isn’t the problem.

Hi

Please make sure UAC is ON then follow steps here to help us determine the cause of the issue:

One question: Does the network folder have write permission?

Thanks

Debug file attached as requested. Hope this helps

Sorry, I’ve just realised that I didn’t answer the question regarding folder permissions. My folder backup allows full read/write access from all authorised users and in fact can be written to by CBU if UAC is turned off.

Thank you.
We are looking into the problem.
The issue will be fixed in next release.

Thanks
