the program works fine, but it constantly look for updates, like at least 8 times a day, and it’s affecting my internet and program efficiency. I don’t want to have to change the options for automatic update every single time I want to do some online gaming or recording videos.
is it possible to set a specific time that the program should look for update? most of the anti virus have this feature, but for some reason I can’t find it for comodo firewall.
I only installed firewall, not antivirus.
since you dont have the antivirus installed its checking for program updates. as of now there is no way to change the frequency. it might be better to just disable the autoupdater then manually check for updates every so often. its under the more tab then preferences
it’s kinda weird, pretty much every other security program with auto update has pretty obvious interface to set up auto update, I’d expect comodo to have it as well.
well v6 should be coming to beta in a month or so lets hope it gets added
