Is it possible to have files deleted in the source be moved to a ? I am looking to have an up-to-date mirror folder for quick recovery but also an archive (not in the “compressed” sense of the word) of files as they are erased/renamed.

I think this falls outside of the current purvue of Comodo Backup, Milo.
You may certainly add it to the WishList, and/or file a ticket with Comodo Support. http://support.comodo.com/
There may be some other utility products which allow “saving” deleted files in this manner; it would seem like a “redirected delete” sort of thing?

There is a workaround.
You could set up two bavkup jobs - one to create the zipped archive and leave the originals in place and the second to copy without archiving and delete originals.
