Can a new install of Comodo Firewall retain old rules

I am currently using Comodo Firewall V3.5.57173.439
Yes, I know, that is an old one, but the update option does not work.
To try and recover from this, I was going to reinstall with a more up to date version and hope that the update feature works ok with that one.
The question I have is whether or not it is possible to save all of the rules and permissions I have attained over the years and transfer them into the new install of Comodo. I know for a fact that if I just do a simple installation that it will overwrite the rules and I have to start all over again teaching the firewall.

TIA

No.

But why do yo want to update in the first place?

The firewall seems to be working ok apart from letting me update it.
As I am seeing posts for (at the very least) V5 of the firewall and I am using V3 (which I installed around Dec 2008), I figured that it was probably about time that I updated to get hold of any improvements or security issue fixes.
That was the only reason.

I did find a firewall backup I had made earlier in the year. I assume this cannot be used for anything.

If I were to install the latest version, is there a way to say that everything I currently have on the PC is to be regarded as ‘fit for purpose’ so that I don’t have to retrain the firewall from scratch all over again?

Cheers
