Buster Sandbox Analyzer and Comodo SandBox

Hi all

Ok first I am new to this forum, sry if posted in the wrong section.

A few days ago I read this article on raymond.cc blog

http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2010/07/30/buster-sandbox-analyzer-makes-sandboxie-stronger/

about Buster SandBox Analyzer that can be integrated into SandBoxie.

I wanna know whether there is anyway we could integrate Buster Sandbox Analyzer into Comodo SandBox feature. I was searching around for any config file but could not find, Don’t know where it must be and can we edit it then…

So thought the best way is to approach through the forums. So could you let us know whether it can be done, as its an awesome thing to integrate and analyze files.

Thx in Advance. ;D

Regards

really not needed because the comodo sandbox is not just a sandbox, integrated in it there is the cloud AV and the cloud behavior blocker. They are much more advanced then buster.

Really not needed?! Since when has Comodo had a feature to manually analyze malware built in? Or did you just not read the article properly…?

In case you haven’t, let me quickly summarise: Buster let’s you manually analyse files, including ones that self terminate and delete traces upon detection of a sandbox (You’ve done a host of malware testing videos, I’m sure you have seen this). One of the options is to integrate into Sandboxie, thus giving one a quick, safe, and easy test environment. In no way, shape or form does “cloud scanning and behavioral blocking” serve the same function - they are completely different, and incomparable in this case.

As with regard to integration, bear in mind the Comodo sandbox does not have flushing features.

I completely agree with begemot…

Moreover Comodo SandBox Auto sandbox feature if you mean then i disabled it bcoz it is many times annoying…
And i am asking to integrate it bcoz I would like to know using this Buster SandBox Analyser [BSA] what and where malicious files could be dropped by droppers or wat could be modified…
I say so bcoz i found a virus yesterday that was quite old and Comodo was not able to detect it and had a doubt that I mistakenly activate it…
I wanted to clean up stuffs so wanted this BSA, just to know wat n where I had to use SandBoxie on a virtual machine… just to avoid conflict with Comodo incase any…
Thx goodness i wasn’t infected…

OK back to the main topic…

I know that would not be essential for normal users but could help others who are more then average…

So kindly forward our request so that we could integrate BSA somehow…

Thx

Buster Sandbox Analyzer has been coded to work specifically with Sandboxie, therefore it can not be integrate in Comodo SandBox.

ok, so cannot be helped…
