Dear Comodo developers,
I have found an issue when using Comodo (v2.3 & v2.4) with AntiVirusShield (6.0.0.308) and PPPoE protocol.
Here is steps to reproduce:
- Start system
- Start PPPoE connection
in “SystemInfo->Adapter” - new entry is added: “WAN (PPP/Slip) Interface” with some valid IP address.
- Downloading/Uploading internet is OK.
- Disconnect PPPoE connection
in “SystemInfo->Adapter” - new entry “WAN (PPP/Slip) Interface” is not removed - just IP is changed to 0.0.0.0
- Start PPPoE connection again
in “SystemInfo->Adapter” - new entry is added again: “WAN (PPP/Slip) Interface” with valid IP address (same as on step 2). “WAN (PPP/Slip) Interface” with IP 0.0.0.0 is still exists.
- Downloading/Uploading internet is FAILED (No blocking records in log - just no data transfers)
- Disconnect PPPoE connection
in “SystemInfo->Adapter” - entry “WAN (PPP/Slip) Interface” is not removed again, IP is changed to 0.0.0.0 again.
If I made this steps with AVS uninstalled - “WAN (PPP/Slip) Interface” is removed ok when I disconnecting PPPoE connection & connection is OK after step 5.
Could you please investigate this issue?
