Hi,

that’s very strange.

if comodo automatically starts, there exist no listening WOSs. If I shut down comodo and start cis again then I have several listening WOSs.

can someone confirm it?

hi,

i believe it is bug, can someone test it, please?

look at the active connecitions, then shut down the firewall and starts again. → now there are the wos connections active.

win xp sp3

thanks

Hi erty.

The WOS object, isn’t a real entity and is used primarily when a request is received from a Networked service for which you have no applications or services ready to reciprocate.

To put that another way, if you, for example run a p2p application and you suddenly close it down, requests will still be received from the peers but your p2p application is no longer running, at this point WOS intercepts the requests and creates a log entry.

There are many potential reasons for your seeing these connections, but to find out more would require further investigation.

I Hope that helps
