BSOD Win 8.1 x64

I have an strange error when i start/boot my computer (note it’s not happening everytime):

I receive a BSOD with error: 0xc0000018
When i reset my PC second time, everything works just fine.

It could be this because i use the latest CIS v6.3.297838.2953 or it could be anything else?

From the event logger i can see that the system was unable to create crash dumps
Also on Event logger, Windows cannot - is unable to Audit the file guard64.dll from Windows\System32
it says Audit Fail
"Code Integrity determined that the page hashes of an image file are not valid. The file could be improperly signed without page hashes or corrupt due to unauthorized modification. The invalid hashes could indicate a potential disk device error.

File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\System32\guard64.dll"

As a note, i run my system Windows 8.1 x64 and all apps and software programs from a SSD Drive Corsair FORCE 120 GB i’ve run a disk error check and everything is fine with the disk!!!

Should i worry about this or not?

Thanks

Same here, I’m reboot several times before install Comodo IS and all run fine, but after install CIS and update to latest version, starts the random BSoD when starting/rebooting. :embarassed:

If you can replicate this please set your computer to make full crash dumps. Then create a bug report for this in this section of the forum. Use the format provided in this post and attach all required files. For using the format, just copy and paste the code directly in and put your responses after the colons.

To attach the full dump file upload it to a file sharing site, like this one and post the download link in your report.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.
