Hello! Some time ago windows showed me bsod 0x000000D1 TCP/IP, i think trouble in comodo firewall. http://rghost.ru/39530069 Dump. Windows 7 x64 SP1. Who knows what is it? Thanks.
I checked the dmp file with Nirsoft Bluescreenview. It looks like a problem with Windows drivers and not the CIS drivers. When settings Bluescreenview to only show the drivers in the stack it will only show two Windows drivers.
From the support page of Bluescreenview:
Only Drivers Found In Stack: Displays only the modules/drivers that their memory addresses found in the stack of the crash. There is very high chance that one of the drivers in this list is the one that caused the crash.
That suggests to me the problem is not with CIS. Unless somebody with debugging experience tells me otherwise.
I just reinstall CIS, will see what happen tomorrow. This is BSOD happened one time at day. May be, my provider and comodo gives this effect?
I am not a developer so I have asked the other mods to take a look as well.
thank you very much for your help
Based on this dump it’s hard to say.
Since when did this occur and what has been changed on your system around that date?
Did you tweak in any way the tcpip.sys driver on your system? or used other network driver related tweak utilities?
Placed or replace any hardware lately?
Nothing changed. This is begun suddenly.
I did not tweak any thing.
Hardware not been replaced.
Maybe, this is started after activate option “Block all incoming connections and make my ports stealth for everyone”, but i’m not sure
It might be a corrupt file, did you system freeze or got disrupted by a power-down for example?
Please run a checkdisk on your system to see if it finds corrupted files.
You could also verify your system with TDSS killer and Hitmanpro to see if it finds any suspicious stuff running.
Sometimes this crash is related to a badly written rootkit driver.
To throw doubt: i reinstalled windows, and after that BSOD happened again. Viruses, freezes is absent in system.
Seven days ago I uncheck option “Block all incoming connections and make my ports stealth for everyone”. Since that time windows not show me BSOD again.
mmm that sounds like a bug, can you file a bug report?
sure, but what will i write in bug report? I’ve got no logs, no errors, just a mini dump. If You want, can you do it yourself? If you need something, i can give it. Also i can answer some questions from developers. Thank You.
Can you do me a favor and turn the option back on to see how fast it will BSOD again?
Done. 11.08.2012 activated option.
14.08.2012 BSOD again
